Air traffic controller training is the dream of many aviation enthusiasts. Nevertheless, career aspirations are often denied because the criteria for applicants are strict.
If you want to take part in the Air Traffic Controller Training, you don't just have to have good school results. Technical understanding, Spatial Imagination and other qualities are also required. When the jet birds fly high in skies, they need to function smoothly, and so we need smart people from various disciplines to work in co-ordination. This role has specific demands, training is critical.
Having control of the airspace and ensuring coordination among the aircraft are just a few of the tasks of the air traffic controllers. In fact, your job in this job is to ensure smooth air travel. You will mainly communicate with the pilots. Doing an apprenticeship, is a training-integrated programme in cooperation with DFS Deutsche Flugsicherung GmbH.
This enables them to pursue careers outside or in addition to the traditional field of activity of air traffic controllers. All semesters are divided into study phases at the university in Worms and training phases at the Air Navigation Services Academy in Langen.
