As an apprentice, you learn skills, knowledge and abilities in the apprenticeship program like Dealing with guests and team members, Receiving and storing goods, Preparing and following up work for food, preparation as well as using equipment, machines and work tools, Application of basic work techniques in the kitchen, Performing basic service and housekeeping duties, Preparation of simple meals and dishes, Preparation of vegetable foods and mushrooms, Preparation of soups, sauces and stews, processing and preparation of meat, processing and preparation of fish, Preparation and processing of doughs and masses, preparation of sweets and desserts.

Planning and implementing the sustainable use of equipment, machinery, work tools, food and resources, Application of the specific hygiene rules in the kitchen, Composition and labelling of dishes and meals, Ensuring the flow of goods and calculating costs and prices, kitchen management processes, advising guests and selling products and services, and instructing and managing employees. Being a chef means loving food and being creative.
